As the National College Attainment Network’s (NCAN’s) Communications Intern, Jalana Smith supports communications efforts through digital storytelling, social media engagement, content creation, and marketing initiatives.

Prior to joining NCAN, Smith held a variety of leadership and communications roles, including Help Desk Assistant for the Georgia Tech John H. Martinson Honors Program (JMHP), President of Suit Up Professional Preparation (S.U.P.P.), and Marketing and Fan Experience Intern for the Georgia Tech Athletics Association.

Smith is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Literature, Media, and Communication from the Georgia Institute of Technology with minors in Leadership Studies and the Business of Sports and Entertainment. She is from Georgia and enjoys playing video games, watching films and anime, reading, and making jewelry.
